Be gentle and you can be bold; be frugal and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others and you can become a leader among men.

As owner of MetaFitness & Wellness Center, you can find my complete bio on the "About" page in the Navigation Bar. My goal is to support everyone who comes to MetaFitness & Wellness Center in their personal endeavors in health, wellness and balanced living.

My hobbies include reading on fitness trends, exercise, nutrition and health. I am continually learning about anything to do with healthy living, the world of energy, and creating a life of harmony, kindness and peace. I enjoy meditation, working with crystals, drumming and developing my higher intuition.

I am an avid gardener, enjoying all aspects from composting to landscape design to organic growing. My personal goal is to know and grow every perennial and shrub that can be grown in my Zone 2-3 climate, and as many different trees as I can find room for. I can often be found gazing at, feeling or arranging the thousands of rocks in my yard or enjoying the smell, texture and energy of the trees! Interior decorating, dancing, hiking and photography are some of my other interests.

You can find pictures of my garden on the "Garden Retreat" page in the Navigation Bar. My hope is that you find as much enjoyment and beauty in the pictures as I found in creating the garden.

I completed my Yoga certification through At One Yoga in Scottsdale Arizona. Growing up I played indoor and outdoor soccer for over 8 years and I was also involved in Volleyball, Basketball, Team Handball and even did a bit of Cheerleading.

Yoga and I met during High school. I needed to survive finals and cut back on some personal stress, so I signed up for a beginner class. From there I found tapes, magazines and other sources to continue learning and deepening my practice. Stepping onto my mat is always a treasured moment, and it is even better in good company.

I am currently attending the U of A as a Human Ecology student. I work with textiles and design and love hand craft in my spare time.

That's my dog Phoebe in my picture. She is my shadow and I love it. When I'm not around she settles for one of my shoes.
